Advertisers Flee Tucker Carlson After He’s Captured On Hidden Audio Saying “Everyone Should Just Try And Get Along”

(New York, New York) – Advertisers have fled, and calls for Fox News to fire Tucker Carlson grew louder Wednesday after a secret audio recording of him talking candidly emerged.

“I wish the country could be more united,” Carlson can be heard saying in the 40-second clip. “Everyone should just try and get along.”

The shocking audio was recorded by one of Carlson’s neighbors in the elevator of his 5th Avenue apartment building.

The neighbor, who asked not to be identified, was visibly shaking as she spoke to The Fake Scoop.

“I just stood there in stunned silence,” she said. “I couldn’t believe it. Fortunately I knew he would say something outrageous – that’s why I started recording.”

Carlson’s remarks went beyond the offensive “get along” comment, at one point saying that he “wants everyone to live a happy and fulfilled life.”

Major Backlash

Large advertiser Procter and Gamble immediately pulled all spots from Fox News, saying in a press release that they are a “family company who can’t abide by that type of language.”

“Tucker Carlson can go to hell,” the statement concluded.

Tucker’s Response

“Frankly, I’m embarrassed,” Carlson said, when contacted by TFS on his secret Tumblr. “I was just venting. I know that’s no excuse. I am truly sorry.”
