(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff strongly rebuked Republicans Wednesday morning, arguing that their criticism of Hunter Biden was completely unwarranted.
“Joe Biden’s crackhead son is not the issue,” Schiff exclaimed. “The issue is that President Trump attempted to expose blatant corruption by the Washington establishment.”
“That sort of thing just isn’t done,” Schiff added.
The younger Biden’s stint at controversial Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, where he was paid $50,000 a month to sit on the board despite having no experience in the region or industry, has come under scrutiny by a small number of far right radicals.
“Questioning the propriety or details of this perfectly normal arrangement is a conspiracy theory,” Schiff told reporters.
