Television Star Homer Simpson Tests Positive For Coronavirus

(Springfield, USA) – Americans were shocked to learn early Saturday that television icon Homer J. Simpson has been diagnosed with the Novel Coronavirus.

“Do’h!,” the affable everyman told The Fake Scoop when reached for comment.

Cartoon Contraction

Simpson, 39, has starred in his eponymous sitcom since it debuted on the FOX Network as a full-animated series on December 17, 1989.

How he ended-up with the virus remains unknown, but Simpson believes it may be related to his favorite watering hole.

“Isn’t Moe Italian?,” he asked inquisitively.

Self-Quarantine

When informed that he would not be able to go into work for the next 2 weeks, Simpson was enthusiastic.

“Woohoo! Fourteen day weekend!,” he shouted.
