(Zürich, Switzerland) – The Fédération Internationale de Football Association has canceled the 2026 World Cup, which was scheduled to be played in North America six years from now, The Fake Scoop has learned.
The 23rd FIFA World Cup was set to take place in 16 cities throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico, but now will be relegated to an exclusively online experience.
“We’ll provide the information about what internet platform FIFA 2026 will be played on just as soon as that platform is invented,” a FIFA spokesman wrote on Twitter.
America Ambivalent
“Let’s face it – this is probably for the best,” U.S. Men’s National soccer head coach Gregg Berhalter told TFS. “No one actually cares about soccer.”
“I’m sorry, ‘futbal’,” Berhalter added, rolling his eyes.
2030 Tentative
The 2030 FIFA World Cup competition going ahead remains up in the air.
“We’re still waiting to hear back from Dr. Fauci if he’ll allow it,” the association’s president told ESPN.
