Lack of Sports Results in Zero Programming Changes at ESPN

(Bristol, CT) -With all major sporting events canceled, one might think that a dedicated sports channel like ESPN would be facing a shortage of content.

“Not so,” ESPN public-relations executive Michael Thacker told The Fake Scoop. “In fact nothing has changed.”

Lefty Lineup

The Sports broadcasting giant faced criticism in 2017 when they changed the name of their flagship program from “SportsCenter” to “SportsGender”, and the focus went from athletic competition to lectures on the dangers of mansplaining.

“That really brought in the virtue-singling corporate advertisers,” Thacker boasted.

Existing Precedent

“It’s like how MTV doesn’t actually play music videos anymore, or how the History Channel only has shows about Ice Road Truckers,” media analyst Kristen Graham told TFS.
